Software for Colorimetry Print

The customer asked for an automated system to compare the visual color impression of a sample against a reference type in an laboratory application. The samples has to be first diluted (with a specific solvent) and then pumped  into a flow-thru-cell of a photometer. After collecting the spectrum of the sample the colorimetry calculation could be done.

For this project we used a PerkinElmer photometer with autosampler, an Hamilton valve drive for selecting the solvent and a Hamilton 2-syringe drive with mixing chamber. Instrument control and colorimetry calculations is done by our software.
